I’ve always enjoyed reading & writing as well as listening to and making music of one kind or another.
Since living in Sheffield, I started sitting around playing guitar and singing and picked up my writing again as a result of needing lyrics to sing over the chord progressions we were coming up with as a group. Experiments in songwriting and collaboration with my bandmates at the time furthered my interest in how the kaleidoscopic paint of words can be daubed onto any old scrap in a variety of ways to achieve a range of aesthetic and subjective effects in the reader/listener.
This site exists as an outlet and a chance to write for the enjoyment of a greater audience than just myself, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any of your own thoughts/feedback, they will be read and thoroughly appreciated.
